Thermal Imaging Camera detects changes in Skin Temperature

The NEC TH5104 Thermal Imaging Camera provides a quick, non contact method of screening people for abnormally high skin temperatures.  It can be configured to work alongside a visual video camera in a remote position providing an unobtrusive method of observation.  Images are transferred in real time to a central control facility where results can be scrutinised on a Video Monitor or Computer.

The TH5104 has a high or low Event alarm which can be programmed to trigger if the level of temperature is higher than would normally be expected.  Note the high facial temperature in the thermal image of the person on the right.

This system is ideal for areas where there is a constant flow of people, for example Airports, Railway Stations and Hospitals, providing a quick screening process without impeding normal procedures.
