Compact Series

Optris has set new benchmarks within the area of industrial thermometers regarding the size and robustness of the sensing head. The small sensing heads have been developed for the use in small and cramped areas. Therefore they are normally used in applications with limited space such as midget instrumentation construction or engine building.

Furthermore the compact series offers inimitable advantages for the installation in applications with high ambient temperature as the sensing head can be used for temperatures up to 250°C without additional cooling. This advantages accounts for a reduction in costs for the mechanical installation.

These devices are increasingly popular within OEM solutions and the multiple insertions of infrared measurement places due to the very advantageous price.

Optris offers various thermometer designs. Our customers can therefore find the appropriate device regarding their requirements:

  • Single-piece - lens and electronic are build into a compact housing
  • Single-piece - Two wire devices with the electronic integrated within the cable
  • Two-piece - sensing head with separate electronic box
