The PathFindIR is a compact thermal
imaging camera, designed for drivers vision enhancement, significantly
reducing the potential hazards of driving in darkness, smoke, fog and
rain. Using the PathFindIR allows the driver to see significantly
further than standard headlights permit, enabling them to detect
objects, pedestrians or animals within their path, giving them more time
to react to any possible hazard/danger.
The PathFindIR features a crisp and clear 320 x 240 video that can be
monitored on a device capable of accepting a standard composite input
and incorporates an internal heater to defrost its protective window,
allowing it to be used in harsh environmental conditions and
temperatures between -40 and +80°C. The PathFindIR module can be
integrated into military vehicle designs or commercial vehicle
applications. As already done by BMW,
