Requirement:
A Building Contractor required insulation checks to be
carried out on a building before it could be handed over to the
client.
Solution:
Metrum surveyed the building using the NEC TH7102V Thermographic camera and identified that heat was escaping from the
building as indicated by the red areas in the lower picture. The camera was easily able to recognise that
there were areas that had poor insulation, insulation slip or no insulation at all.
Outcome:
Utilising the Customer's plans, thermal images and visual
pictures, Metrum issued a full report enabling repairs to be made
which allowed the building to be handed over on time.
